LAVAPIU, Via Nicola Castagna 9
Teramo
Lorenzo Kamerlengo’s fascination about big rocks originates from the memory of a summer day in which he was being taught how to walk on reefs. He describes this recollection as an exercise of balance and focus. With his work for LAVAPIU Lorenzo it’s not merely teaching us how to walk on a reef edge, but he is providing us with a visual map which will lead us to the inner side of the rocks he conceived, turning them into our shelter. A urban landscape illuminated by a tenuous light has been abandoned; whereas a rocky valley is populated with figures which seem to have found a refuge.
